Objectives:
1. To point out the Mid Nordic as a macro region. 
2. Energy balance (supply, use and share of renewable energy) and Energy Agenda Declaration for the Mid Nordic Region. 
3. Point out the significance of the energy sector for the regional strength of competition. 
4. To show that green energy supply and great strength of competition not are each others opposites. 
5. Increased knowledge and cooperation within the regions energy sector due to regular Energy Awareness Actions. 

These objectives shall be reached by different activities within the project and distribution of the final report. 

The work and the final report of this subproject was presented during Bioenergy 2007 -conference in Jyväskylä, Central Finland during 3-6/9/2007.

* ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TRANSPORTATION - Best practices in Green Traffic
Within the Interreg-project PROMIDNORD, that contains representatives from the middle parts of Sweden, Norway and Finland, an information booklet about best practices within green transportation was made during the summer of 2006.The booklet contains five subjects under the transportation area. A couple of examples, from each area, on already existing projects have been illustrated.
The containing areas are transportation with biofuel, driving with ethanol and trying to reach the goals of 2003/30/EG, biking and ways to get more people to start biking, car sharing and Ecodriving or economical driving.
The goal with this booklet is to spread information about environmentally friendly ways for transportation and to connect people going in to a project with people that already have gone through the same type of questions.
