The final conference of WP1 (strategywork) within the ProMidNord-project dealt with how the MidNordic region can become stronger and create conditions for sustainable development in northern Europe. The Midnordic region will be known as a strong and dynamic developmentregion in EU through a deep and active cooperation with the midnordic regions and their universities and central cities - all this will create a better balance for an equal develop-ment in whole Europe.
In the conference we tried to answer following questions: - How can we in our regions strenghten Europe in the global competition? - How to strenghten entrepreneurship and sustainable growth in the Midnordic region? - What is Spatial Planning, the common european modell for development? - What are ProMidNords results and future plans?
